I have to agree with you. Despite the clubs and sports teams that are currently available, there are still tons of kids out there causing havoc. I see it every day in my neighborhood. I don't need the excuses that these children are left unsupervised and what else do we expect? I expect parents to do their job and raise their children appropriately and to respect others and their property. The really disappointing part is that most of these obnoxious kids in my neighborhood have parents who are home and are available to supervise them, but choose not to. Let's not put the blame on the availability of after school activities. It's time for parents to step up and raise their children.

Agreed! But think abou how many more kids would have had nothing to do after school, and no sense of belonging and nothing worth losing. That was the point I was trying to make. Not that kids who play sports are all good kids. I know that. But if these kids have something to do after school keeps them off the street.
Your correct it is the parents responsability for thier childrens actions. But we have parents giving underaged kids alcohol and letting them drive and alot of other things as well.
Cant fix everything. but keeping that many kids afterschool is a start to keep kids off the streets.
